A Master of Science (MSc) degree is the European equivalence of the American MS degree. Both are considered STEM degrees, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and/or Medicine. In addition, some MSc programs focus on social sciences. If you are considering a STEM career, you may benefit from an MSc degree.
