The school of maritime studies facilitates and promotes training in maritime affairs with emphasis on nautical sciences, marine engineering, maritime security, search and rescue, maritime transport and environmental studies.
Certificates issued by TAMAHI from the School of Maritime Studies are in full compliance with the most recent provisions of the International Convention for the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for seafarers (STCW) set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
