Outcome: The International Shipping and Logistics Master’s program has been carefully designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge sought after by employers in the competitive shipping and logistics industry. The program focuses on equipping students with the required skills to improve the efficiency and capacity in ports operations and provide lasting solutions to hinterland infrastructure development. This program aims at producing graduates that combine strategies of shipping management as a single transport mode, within the context of international multimodal logistics in solving everyday problems. With a mix of theoretical and practical skills, graduates will be well equipped for careers in maritime business, logistics and/ or supply chain management, either nationally or internationally. Related fields of the discipline will be highlighted for the appreciation of the program as the shipping industry has evolved towards a more integrated, multimodal, door-to-door logistics focus.
